The Mauch Group is a process improvement consultancy practicing in an array of industries. We recognize that every organization, regardless of industry, has its strengths and limitations. Critical challenges like technology integration, staff reallocation, or centralization in a rapidly changing business environment can magnify and or stress these attributes.
Irene Mauch leads the Mauch Group. Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, she earned a BS in Industrial Management from Purdue University, where her lifelong interest in empowering individuals and businesses to work better, was sparked. She continuously supplements her formal learning experience, including LEAN Six Sigma and Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, and, most recently, MIT Sloan Executive Certificate in Technology, Operations, and Value Chain Management.
While education and experience are crucial, Irene’s demeanor and passion for helping others contribute equally to her success. This helps her to ask the right questions and listen carefully to her clients’ answers. It drives her to dig for the countless factors and difference-making details that surround problems and reveal solutions.
Prior to launching the Mauch Group, Irene’s multidisciplinary background in management, IT, and marketing facilitated her career advancement through General Motors and The Boston Globe, a subsidiary of The New York Times Co, Inc. Irene has cultivated a unique ability to approach issues holistically, spot patterns, and find clarity in the chaos of everyday business.

Objective expertise & additional staffing resources to expedite a project from assessment to implementation documentation.
Process & Project Facilitation:
Seasoned expertise working alongside key employees, guiding, teaching, and applying techniques while executing live projects. This approach supports one-on-one skill development of process and project leaders and introduces project management & process thinking concepts to a broader employee base. Kaizen events, longer-term projects, and working sessions are effectively addressed with facilitation services.
Large or small group training conducted by experienced practitioners. Training can be standard methodology content or customized based on attendee’s and current projects.
